Job Summary
The Quality Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting the Quality Engineering group in providing day to day support of the production floor as well as project based activities as determined by the Engineering staff.

The Quality Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting the Quality Engineering group in providing day to day support of the production floor as well as project based activities as determined by the Engineering staff.

The individual must be capable of working independently and in a team setting supporting the Franklin Quality group. Major responsibilities include:
- Organize, collect, and analyze quality data to ensure that product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Investigate quality issues and trends and suggest actions to address the issues.
- Support engineering staff in management and closure of NCRs (non-conformance reports) as needed.
- Perform testing to support validations, studies, and quality investigations.
- Provide direct assistance to the Quality Engineers in creation of validation and other project/product specific documentation such as validation plans, protocols, reports, capability studies, gauge studies, process FMEAs, control plans, inspection sheets, etc.
- Input data into computer to prepare charts or graphs for analysis.
- Support internal QSR or ISO auditing including participating as an auditor or assisting in the closure of previous audit findings.

- Assist in troubleshooting operational or quality issues as needed.
- High School Diploma required or equivalent is required.
- At least 5 years of medical device manufacturing/quality experience.
- Associates Degree preferred.
- Experience with metrology equipment and print interpretation is helpful.
- Should be able to collect data and publish routine reports and correspondence and have basic computer skills and knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
