Location: Temecula, CA - 92591

Duration: 12 Months on W2

Job Description

As an Intermediate Quality Engineer, you will support the quality engineering activities in the Reliability Engineering Lab. Your primary responsibilities will include equipment qualification, supporting equipment calibration and maintenance, coordinating repairs with various teams, and qualifying new software and recipes for testing equipment. Additionally, you will manage multiple projects and address lab-related nonconformance activities.

Responsibilities

• Support quality engineering activities in the Reliability Engineering Lab.
• Perform equipment qualification activities.
• Support equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Coordinate with various teams for equipment repairs.
• Qualify new software and recipes for testing equipment.
• Own and manage multiple projects.
• Address lab-related nonconformance activities.
• Consult with Manufacturing, Information Management, Research Development & Engineering, Quality Assurance Operations, and Product Performance Analysis teams to ensure compliance with Life Scan software development procedures and industry regulations.
• Review and approve deliverables of the software development lifecycle.
• Lead teams in performing Hazard Analysis.
• Assist teams in developing Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for software development activities.
• Provide occasional training for software development activities.
• Write and execute test protocols and reports as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of post-degree experience in quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of equipment qualification and calibration.
• Experience with software and recipe qualification for testing equipment.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a Reliability Engineering Lab.
• Familiarity with LifeScan software development procedures.
• Experience in leading Hazard Analysis.
• Proficiency in developing Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
