Quality Document Controller

Summary/Objective

As a Quality Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our quality documentation. You will be responsible for creating test documentation and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), as well as monitoring and managing revisions of quality documents. Your attention to detail and organization skills will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our documentation processes and supporting other documentation tasks as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Create and maintain test documentation.
  • Develop and update ITPs.
  • Monitor document revisions.
  • Document control and management
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct document audits
  • Prepare reports on document status, revisions, and compliance to management.
  • Ensure all quality records are maintained and readily available for review by internal/external auditors.
  • Assist with internal/external audits.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Skills And Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and accurate technical documents and test plans.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles, standards, and practices.
  • Ability to identify issues in documentation processes and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documentation.


Required Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED


Preferred Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Previous experience as Quality Document Controller


Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

This role primarily involves prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer, with occasional standing, walking, and the need to lift and carry materials up to 20 pounds. Good manual dexterity, visual and auditory abilities, and effective communication skills are also required to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Expected Hours of Work

The “core” work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
