LUCAS-MILHAUPT INC Quality Director CUDAHY , Wisconsin Apply Now JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Overview The Director, Quality providesleadership and direction for Lucas Milhaupt Quality Assurance strategicinitiatives to achieve short and long term quality improvementobjectives as it relates to Operations and external Customer qualityperformance. This position will be accountable and own the overallquality improvements and results as they relate to quality managementsystems, personnel development and growth, customer performance andrelationships, continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productquality at manufacturing facilities and lead the organization inachieving positive results in quality metrics. Responsibilities Developand deploy quality assurance and quality control policies, procedures,and objectives to ensure alignment with customer requirements andrelevant regulatory standards for our Cudahy, WI and Warwick, RIfacilities. Lead, oversee, and develop the Quality Assurance teams.Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of products and processes toeffectively analyze and interpret customer issues, facilitating theimplementation of corrective actions and enhancements to processes orproducts. Initiating and monitoring continuous improvement activitiesincluding customer corrective actions, internal corrective/preventiveactions, error-proofing, and scrap reduction with supported departments.Define goals and metrics for the QA department. Analyze and communicatequality metrics, trends, and performance to the Senior Leadership Team.Cultivate and sustain relationships with customers vendors, andregulatory bodies to ensure adherence to standards. Collaborate withProcurement to monitor supplier performance and establish, implement,and maintain supplier auditing processes. Support the implementation ofthe QF88 process for new process or equipment implementation projects.Ensures the company adheres to the quality standards established byregulatory agencies, ISO 9001, AS9001, and customer specifications.Prepares annual budget outlining departmental...
