Position Overview:

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that sheet metal and machined parts are inspected utilizing CMM inspection equipment. Attention to detail, process oriented, and eager to learn are non-negotiable qualities required from the candidate chosen for the role.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Inspection of Sheetmetal / and Machined parts
• Learn and operate CMM inspection equipment
• Package and shuttle parts after inspection
• Check revisions on staged parts prior to work being performed
• Check stock material lengths and Type for accuracy prior to machine shop usage.
• Bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Document nonconformance and work with supervision to address corrective action.
  
  
  

Qualifications/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade school certificate in the field is preferred, or
• 1 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Must have knowledge using basic measurement tools such as calipers, tape measure, etc
• Must have entry level experience within a machine shop or fabrication environment
• Ideally will know the different types of metal

Supervisory Responsibility - this position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment - this position operates in a combined environment that will fluctuate form office to shop depending on the work being performed

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work - this is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Team Member in this position is expected to work weekend and evenings as needed to meet expectations

Additional Eligibility Qualifications - Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
