We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained across our grid-scale wind and solar projects.

Job Description:

Position Overview: The Quality Control (QC) Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the quality assurance and quality control processes for grid-scale wind or solar projects. This role requires an individual with a strong background in QC management within the renewable energy sector, specifically in large-scale wind or solar construction projects. The QC Manager will ensure that all project components meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system tailored to grid-scale wind or solar projects.

• Inspection and Testing: Oversee all inspection and testing activities to ensure materials and construction processes comply with project specifications and standards.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate quality control records, including inspection reports, test results, and non[1]conformance reports.

• Audits: Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the QC team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and

adherence to quality protocols.

• Supplier Quality: Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities meet relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Problem Resolution: Identify quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are

understood and met.

• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement in quality practices and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control management, with a focus on grid-scale wind or solar projects.

• Extensive knowledge of quality control principles, standards, and regulations specific to the renewable energy sector.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

• Proficiency in quality control software and tools.

• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification is a plus.
