Inspect parts during production and after completion, ensuring they meet customer specifications and tolerances. Utilize various inspection methods and equipment, including conventional techniques, Faro Arm, CMM with scanning, vision systems, and laser scanning. A thorough understanding of inspection methods is crucial. Collaborate with Production personnel and managers to address quality issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prioritize Safety, Quality, and Productivity in all tasks
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Accurately record work hours
Conduct surface plate inspections
Examine parts per drawings and work order specifications
Perform in-process and final inspections of precision machined parts
Engage with production to enhance product quality and reduce defects
Support Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
Document non-conformances and follow company protocols
Utilize Polyworks, Camio, and Keyence programming skills
Create, maintain, and verify CMM programs
Review documentation for accuracy and compliance
Calibrate tools as per defined procedures
Provide training on inspection equipment
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Periodically utilize spectral analyzer
Attend on-site training and safety classes
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a U.S. citizen
Pass background check and drug test

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of Manufacturing, Measuring, Quality Control, or Machining experience
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D
Ability to interpret drawings and geometric dimensioning
Proficient in using layout inspection tools
Skilled in mathematical computations
Able to interpret technical instructions

Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and pushing/pulling
