Quality Control Assistant Manager- Manufacturing $69k - $83k

We are looking for a Quality Control Assistant Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in Manufacturing and Quality Control with the ability to contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the quality of our products. The candidate must be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and be a capable team leader.

Position Overview

The Quality Control Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Quality Control Manager in ensuring that our products meet customer requirements. This includes working with internal departments to ensure the quality of products and materials meet requirements, managing and inspecting specific processes, and ensuring that every product meets our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain, and improve the quality of materials and products.
• Perform regular inspections and tests on finished products and materials.
• Analyze data to identify trends and problems in product quality.
• Provide support in process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the compliance of all manufacturing processes with company policies and procedures.
• Train staff in quality standards and processes.
• Advise other departments on quality requirements.
• Administer policies and procedures related to quality control.
• Manage and document Quality Control activities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing and Quality Control.
• Knowledge of Quality Control Management, Kaizen, Quality Control (QC) and IATF16949.
• Familiarity with PDCA, Drawing, GD&T, Engineering, CMM Programming, Vision System, and Dyno.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Excel, Quality, Automotive, Operations, Safety, Equipment, and Training is preferred, but not required.
• ISO14001 and Cost Control knowledge is an asset.
