Sparks Group has partnered with a software company to hire a full time Manual Tester to join the client's team to propel their cryptocurrency mining monitor product to the next level.
Location: 2 days onsite in Baltimore, MD
Tasks:
Craft and execute test cases to ensure software is flawless
Partner with developers to understand requirements and design effective testing strategies
Provide functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
Document test results, bugs, and overall test coverage
Lend your voice in test planning sessions and brainstorming the best approach
Track and report defects using our bug tracking tools
Work hand-in-hand with developers to resolve issues and verify fixes
Stay on top of industry trends and best practices in testing methodologies
Bring your ideas to the table to improve our existing testing processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
Demonstrable experience as a Manual Tester in software development projects
Understand software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques like a pro
Experience with creating, executing test cases, and managing defects.
Familiar with testing tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar
