Quality Assurance Manager

LTS is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. This position is 100% remote. The QA Manager will be responsible for the continued development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's quality management system (QMS) which is certified as ISO 9000, 20000, and 27001, along with the planning for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The QA Manager will have the knowledge, experience, and skills to lead the implementation of new quality standards from development of process assets, to training personnel, to analyzing internal audit activities to ensure compliance which will result in successful audits and appraisals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and implement quality plans, policies, processes, procedures, and templates to ensure compliance with ISO and CMMC.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align process improvement efforts with organizational goals and objectives, ensuring strategic alignment and driving continuous
  • improvement culture throughout the company.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of internal and external process occurrences, variance, and nonconformance for trends analysis and reporting providing corrective action
  • recommendations for process improvement.
  • Manage and oversee the corporate Project Assets Library (PAL) to include change management and configuration management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports to track the progress, effectiveness, and impact of process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the LTS initiative to prepare for CMMC certification.
  • Manage lifecycle process improvement utilizing internal tools and application platforms items (e.g., Service Requests, Corrective Actions, Risks, Customer Satisfaction,
  • Project Planning and Management, and Opportunities for Improvements)
  • Ensure corporate quality records are current and accurate based on internal processes.
  • Analyze project assets, prepare the organization for external assessments, and ensure successful CMMC appraisals/ISO audits.
  • Tailor organizational processes to project contractual and functional requirements while ensuring compliance with external quality standards
  • Identify and document non-compliance findings and work with project teams and organizational functional areas to perform causal analysis and create corrective
  • action plans to manage non-compliances to closure.
  • Train and mentor project personnel in the implementation of process assets
  • Support the development of the quality assurance content of proposals in response to government requests for proposals.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually enhance the security posture of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or other relevant discipline. and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in managing corporate quality management system, developing, and executing CMMC and ISO compliant processes.
  • 7+ years working in the IT industry, with experience in federal contracting and consulting disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience to lead quality initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Experience leading supporting internal/external ISO audits to include responding to nonconformances, implementing corrective action plans, and assessing their
  • effectiveness.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting corporate/program performance measures and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating risks and developing contingency plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication (written and verbal).
  • Experience with audit report writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement cross-functional processes to meet internal operations requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to write quality and technical-related documents.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office products.

Desired Skills

  • ISO Internal Auditor (Any Standard)
  • Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) or Certified CMMC Assessor
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • ASQ Certifications (CQA, CSQE, CQE, CMQ/OE)
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodology and practices
