- Pay Range: $125,000+ Based on Experience
- Location: Savannah, GA
- Monitor and analyze customer complaints, developing action plans to address identified issues.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure quality assurance is incorporated into all aspects of service delivery.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to develop and implement cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Lead supplier factory inspections and part analysis to identify quality issues and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified quality issues.
- Visit dealerships and sales locations to investigate and identify specific instances of customer complaints, working to identify root causes.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and KPIs to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Check the field’s Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) and create new TSBs once a field campaign is determined.
- Implement a reimbursement system linked with warranty information to obtain warranty cost recovery from suppliers for failures they provoked.
- Maintain and improve quality performance through field analysis and process resolution.
- Lead the analysis of parts, vehicles, and materials to obtain root cause results.
- Perform analysis on failed parts, solving issues through problem-solving techniques, documenting improvements, and sharing best practices.
- Review field emerging issues to obtain results, coordinating analysis for solutions, potential recalls, and campaigns if needed.
- Monitor safety quality issues in the field and take appropriate field fixes such as recalls and campaigns.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize quality costs.
- Experience in quality assurance and process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry, particularly in EV OEM, is preferred.
