Stationhead is seeking a passionate QA Engineer to join our growing development team. This is a full-time remote position based around EST working hours.

About the Role
Exercise ownership over the product by designing our quality strategy from the ground up
Iterate with our in-house product and development teams to design, document and execute test plans for our iOS, Android and Web products
Work with the engineering & product teams to understand & document the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
Manually regression test each release for new and existing features
Proactively categorize & diagnose bug reports from users and communicate relevant problem areas and reproduction steps to the engineering team
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and lesser-traveled user paths
Advocate for quality standards & best practices and contribute to automating processes and tooling as needed
Participate in product discussions and use your experience to inform roadmap decisions within the business
About You
You have 4+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
You have experience testing iOS, Android and Web products
You have extensive experience with manual testing and are able to be hands-on
You exercise a high-degree of accountability and ownership over your work
You have excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and root cause analysis skills
You have a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and software engineering best practices
You thrive in a small, fast-paced, high-impact startup environment
You are excited to work on a product centered around music and live streaming
You are excited to be the first Quality Assurance Engineer hire at Stationhead and are motivated by the prospect of owning and designing our quality strategy
You are naturally curious and are committed to improving your own skillsets as well as those of your team members
Preferred Skills
You have experience with automated UI tests and understand the associated costs and trade-offs
You have experience leading a QA effort
