Job Title: Quality Analyst

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct packaging lines, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met.

Must Haves

  • Candidates must be able to wear the PPE and respirator.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or related experience
  • Ability to read and write.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written and verbal), and problem resolution skills necessary.
  • Ability to facilitate activities and corresponding results without direct control of personnel and/or process.
  • Detail focused.
  • Collaborator
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Experience in Quality Control (i.e., quality control tests, quality control specifications, etc.) Preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge, with manufacturing experience in flexible packaging operation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects and approves labels, boxes, code dates and packaging materials.
  • Sampling of raw materials within protected environment
  • Approves and releases product process including equipment and materials.
  • Places non-conforming materials and products on hold
  • Performs Quality control checks.
  • Data entry in compliance with GMP/GDP standards

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS

Business Use

  • Exposure to high noise levels.
  • Personal Protective Equipment, including respirator, required. (Business will be provided)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift fifty pounds.
  • Full range of motion (reach above head, bend at waist, etc.)
  • Hand/Eye Coordination and Dexterity
  • Able to climb stairs.

Job Summary

  • Requires proficiency in Quality Assurance Procedural work and expertise in Application work by combining firsthand experimentation with scientific principles and knowledge from science/engineering education to drive foundational technical understanding and solve technical problems.
  • Delivers technical outputs which address critical innovation challenges and completion of key milestones.
  • Execute and reinforce the Corporate Quality Assurance principles and release information for incoming Raw Materials and/or Finished Product.
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues related to the Quality of the Raw materials and of Finished Products produced at the Site. Meet production and consumer needs by timely and effectively inform the status of the release criteria.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Quality Assurance principles (KE). Coach others and actively participate in ownership of specific key elements (follow action plans and maintenance of the processes.

Skills Required

  • Computer skills: basic excel, word. Good people skills.
  • Organized, clean and accurate while working.
  • Decision making.
  • Critical thinking skills, Analytical GC background.

Additional Information

  • Additional equipment – Computer Literacy (for laboratory documentation), Barcode Scanners, Calipers.
  • Personal Health Care background would be nice to have.
  • Respirator – 1 to 2 hours.
  • Candidates will be undergoing an allergy test.
  • Entry Level candidates will be considered. College experience will be nice to have (not required).
  • Schedule: Mon-Friday (8hr Shifts) 7AM-3:30PM (will be avoiding extended hours beyond 8 hrs. of work.)
  • No work with hazardous materials.
  • The role will be strongly associated with Lab Tech role, but not as extensive as a chemist role.
  • The parking lot is onsite and free.
