QT/QML Software Developer
Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is $120-150K. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
Position Summary
As a Software Engineer at Sciton, you will design, develop and maintain production-level software components and UI applications for the company’s medical products.
The position will be based in Palo Alto and reports to the Director of Engineering and works closely with the R&D Team.
In This Role You Will
Develop and maintain touch-based UI applications utilizing QT/QML and deployed to an embedded Linux platform.
Collaborate with software and firmware engineers to define the interaction between subsystems and components. Work closely with the product, engineering, and science teams to define the scope, acceptance criteria, and planning of software features.
Work with V&V team to maintain an approved internal Quality System that meets the requirements of various Regulatory Authorities for medical devices.
Identify and bridge technical gaps and help resolve technical conflicts
Education And Experience
BS/MS degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Strong in C++ programming language
3-5 years of experience working with QT and QML
Working knowledge on Linux environment
Solid software engineering practice with focus on code quality and testing
Git source control
