As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare-related software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop and execute test plans, and identify and report defects. The QA Tester will contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions that meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Tester, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
Familiarity with healthcare management systems, claims processing, or related applications is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning and Preparation:
Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project documentation.
Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and business impact.
Test Execution
Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of healthcare applications.
Document and report defects, issues, and discrepancies in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve reported issues.
Regression Testing
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
Automate repetitive and routine testing tasks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Collaboration And Communication
Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
Provide timely and accurate status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks.
Quality Assurance Standards
Ensure adherence to established quality assurance standards, processes, and methodologies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggesting improvements.
