Job Summary

As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare-related software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop and execute test plans, and identify and report defects. The QA Tester will contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare solutions that meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with healthcare management systems, claims processing, or related applications is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning and Preparation:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project documentation.
  • Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on risk and business impact.

Test Execution

  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of healthcare applications.
  • Document and report defects, issues, and discrepancies in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve reported issues.

Regression Testing

  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Automate repetitive and routine testing tasks to improve efficiency and test coverage.

Collaboration And Communication

  • Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks.

Quality Assurance Standards

  • Ensure adherence to established quality assurance standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by providing feedback and suggesting improvements.
