, Job Description
We are seeking a QA Tester with telecom industry experience for a long-term contract in Cary, NC. This role will work a hybridschedule of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remotely. Due to the projects supported and level of clearance required, this role is open to U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Responsibilities:
Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.
Identify and investigate issues found during testing.
Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issues. Require extensive Automation knowledge.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
Create, shape, and monitor test plans for scalability, security, functionality, and usability. Planning the testing strategies, methods for projects and customizing the testing as needed.
Implementing, executing, and capturing results of test plans/test scripts/test cases.
Create and develop newautomationtest cases -Working closely with the business UAT teams, 3rd party vendors, and other internal IT teams.
Test business processes/products across applications with an end-to-end process flow.
Manage escalations with developers regarding code defects, fix priority and ticket closure.
, Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
QA experience within the Telecommunications industry
Experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and designing test architecture.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver, test framework development, and web application testing
Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven testing culture
Demonstrated programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript etc.
Flexibility to work early/late hours to support offshore/Onshore team members -Occasionally support Production deployment testing during midnight for Enterprise Release
Exposure to Machine Learning inQAis Big Plus
Prior success as an individualQAAutomationEngineer embedded within a product team
Experience testing API and database levels of a product or application -
