QA Change Management Intern

Job Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Change Management Intern will provide the analysis and design skills required to build the required reporting capabilities needed for an overarching review of our CMDB.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in Change Management service delivery
  • Understand and analyze enterprise CMDB Database configuration.
  • Build reports within the ChangeGear application to help IT teams analyze their applications, confirming accuracy of data recorded.
  • Responsible for documentation of the CMDB process, including user’s guide and job aids.
  • Facilitate meetings with CI owners to review CMDB entries, assist with new item entry and confirmation of existing information.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the interaction and dependencies of technical solutions
  • Knowledge of Change Management Data Base principles.
  • Strong understanding of network and data center architecture, application development methodologies, service oriented architecture, and technical integration techniques.

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to interact with all areas of the business
  • Excellent planning, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong technical facilitation and collaboration skills

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School graduate or Current College Student.
  • Proven experience working with strategy and technology, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This job requires the ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • This job requires infrequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 10 pounds.
