We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester with a strong background in using Testim for automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through meticulous testing and effective use of Testim's capabilities. You will work closely with our development team to identify issues and improve the overall quality of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning and Design:
Develop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.
Automated Testing:
Use Testim to create, manage, and execute automated tests.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks to ensure scalability and reusability.
Continuously improve automated testing strategies and processes.
Manual Testing:
Perform manual testing when necessary, including exploratory, regression, and functional testing.
Document and communicate test results, issues, and risks effectively.
Bug Tracking and Reporting:
Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and user experience.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new testing tools/technologies.
Propose and implement improvements to the QA process.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role.
Extensive experience with Testim for automated testing.
Familiarity with other automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in writing and executing test cases.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is advantageous.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
Experience with performance and security testing.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes.
