QA Associate (Manual Focus)

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a QA Associate (Manual Focus) in Austin, Texas (TX). Summary: A mid-sized leading financial planning software provider is seeking experienced manual QA testers to help spearhead testing of our next generation web/tablet-based applications implemented with the MVC framework. In addition, the QA Associate will help improve testing processes around our existing products. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all feature deliverables meet quality objectives
• QA Associate will create written and coded/automated test cases
• Document and work with developers to resolve defects
• Design and execute automated QA scripts
• QA Associate will contribute to application design and user experience
• Configure and Maintain test environments
  
  

Requirements

• 1-5+ years of experience in a software QA role
• Experience in QA test processes and methodologies
• Experience with automation scripting languages (Java or Python preferred but open to other languages)
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test case systems
• Comfortable working in a non-structured, agile development environment with short release cycles
• Basic understanding of financial products and their taxation principles is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
