What You'll Do
As our Remote Purchasing Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our Construction department by handling procurement needs. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and vetting contractors, organizing virtual pre-bid site walks, and managing RFPs and SOWs. You'll evaluate bids, select contractors, and ensure compliance with Federal and State funding procurement guidelines. Your attention to detail and understanding of project documentation requirements will be essential.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of procurement experience in multifamily residential renovation or construction.
Experience managing subcontractor agreements and change orders.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Davis Bacon Wage reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Knowledge of Federal and/or State Weatherization programs and grant-funded projects.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to interpret product specifications and negotiate effectively.
Proficiency in M365 suite, Smartsheet, and SAGE.
