Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet the company's procurement needs
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability

Supplier Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to ensure the best value for the company
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing

Procurement Operations:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, requisitions, and approvals
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to meet operational needs
• Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively

Cost Management:

• Analyze market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings
• Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality and service levels

Compliance and Sustainability:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards
• Promote sustainable procurement practices and source environmentally friendly products whenever possible

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance their skills and performance
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement management, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices is a plus
