Must be experienced in industrial materials management, purchasing, sourcing, worldwide supply chain, logistics, and warehousing. Will be managing all aspects of procuring material and organizing the control and flow of those materials in a distribution/manufacturing environment. Materials include Adhesives, Fasteners, Fabrics, Foams. Daily walk through the warehouse to ensure the supplies/products are organized.
Essential Functions
Negotiate purchase orders. Work with Halco Management, Purchasing, Warehouse & Vendors to ensure consistent supply of product.
Resolve conflict and supply challenges with vendors in order to efficiently facilitate requirements.
Support Engineering Sales, Purchasing and Production in order to assess material requirements and vendor capabilities.
Work with existing company inventory management systems and software systems.
Prepare purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Participate in the development of specifications for products or substitute materials.
Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids to vendors.
Prepare reports as needed regarding market conditions and merchandise cost.
Liaise with 3rd Party Logistics company for Out Of State Warehouses and arrange inbound/outbound freight shipments.
Coordinate with Shipping brokers to track inbound freight shipments from USA / Asia / Europe.
Work with Warehouse to ensure items are properly stored in the correct order and organized properly.
Do a daily walk through the warehouse and maintain close contact with Shipping/Receiving & Production.
Other duties as deemed necessary.

Education Required
· High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
· Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Business related
Experience Required
· 5 plus years of experience in Purchasing and supply chain.
· Prior experience in re-closeable fasteners/adhesive tapes markets or adjacent.
Computer Skills Required
· Experience with Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Experience with CRM / ERP systems.
