Purchasing Manager

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a leading manufacturing company to locate their next Purchasing Manager.

Location: Huntersville, NC. Hybrid flexibility

Compensation: Up to $120k base plus bonus

Benefits 100% paid by employer

4 weeks PTO

Schedule: Full-time, flexible with hybrid options.

What will your day look like?

• Strategic Purchasing Management: Oversee the complete purchasing process in the region, define regional strategies, and develop supplier relationships.

• Supplier Development and Negotiation: Lead supplier evaluation, development, and strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement spend and build strong supplier partnerships.

• Risk and Process Management: Manage procurement risks, ensure compliance with global purchasing standards, and continuously improve purchasing methods and processes.

Who are you?

• Experienced Professional: Minimum 7 years of relevant business experience in purchasing, with a strong focus on strategic procurement.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required, with deep understanding of industry trends and procurement best practices.

• Skilled Communicator: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of SAP MM, MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and fluency in English.

• Adaptable and Customer-Focused: High results-orientation, hands-on management style, and a customer-focused mentality. Willingness to travel as needed.

Recent SAP experience (Within last 5 years)

Management/ Leadership experience
