Purchasing Manager
Full-time Purchasing Manager position open in Lincolnton. This is a rare opportunity to join a family run, locally held manufacturer that has over 50 years in business in Lincoln County.
This position will report directly to the President of the company and lead a team of four direct reports. The job will help with sourcing vendors, forecasting inventory and supply chain, budgeting, negotiating, and more. The Purchasing Manager is essential in facilitating manufacturing objectives and meeting production targets. It will work closely with suppliers to achieve value-driven purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to procure materials and supplies at the best price
- Create and foster supplier relationships
- Evaluate supplier performance
- Create near and long-term purchasing strategies
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Production to ensure optimal level of supply
- Oversee and support the purchasing staff
- Maintain accurate record-keeping of purchases, inventory levels, and pricing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 - 10 years' of purchasing experience
- Supervisory Experience
