Expectations & Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards in all public areas, assisting and supporting all Housekeeping Associates in assigned areas, and assisting with any special cleaning projects.
Maintain established cleaning procedures.
Smile and take ownership while providing our guests with quality service.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Clean multiple common areas in a timely and efficient manner.
Practice safety standards at all times.
Follow department standards, as well as assist in implementing new procedures for continuous improvement.
Ensure that restrooms are maintained and refreshed with supplies on a continuous basis.
Remain alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and co-workers at all times.
Ensure all storage areas are clean and well maintained.
Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
Organize, store, and distribute supplies.
Document maintenance requests on a daily basis.
Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment, including replenishing supplies and equipment as needed during the shift.
Upholds the core values and policies & procedures of the resort.
All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
High School graduate, or equivalent, is preferred.
Basic knowledge of Housekeeping is preferred. Previous experience of one year is ideal.
Must work both independently and in a team environment.
Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Essential Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift minimum weight of 50 lbs. across short-medium distances.
Must be able to stand for the entirety of shift while reaching, bending and stooping as needed.
Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
