Public Relations & Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Description

Are you passionate about communications and social media? We're looking for a motivated Public Relations & Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team!

This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in both PR and marketing. You'll collaborate with our team to develop and execute strategic campaigns that build our brand identity and connect with our target audience on our social media platforms. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing key market information, as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase company revenue and brand.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

• Develop and implement engaging social media content calendars for various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
• Create high-quality graphics, videos, and other visual content
• Manage daily social media posts and interactions with followers
• Analyze social media data and reporting to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
• Conduct market research to determine potential of products and services
• Perform analysis of market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
• Development and implement innovative marketing campaigns
  
  

Public Relations Support:

• Assist with the development and execution of PR campaigns and strategies
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and media outlets
• Monitor media coverage and compile media reports
• Create and maintain media lists and contact databases
• Assist in writing and editing press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials
• Support in organizing and coordinating press events, conferences, and interviews (if applicable)
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in social media marketing and public relations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair for social media content
• Proficient in research and data analysis
• Experience with social media management tools are a plus
• Familiarity with basic graphic design principles
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry trends
• Previous experience in market research or other related fields
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
