Frette is seeking an experienced PR Manager to join the Brand Marketing & Communications team.


This individual is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing of Frette’s public relations activities, both external and internal. Aligning local initiatives with global strategy for all business units (retail, wholesale, hospitality) for Frette and HbyFrette brands.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Plan and execute comprehensive regional PR programs, aligning with global strategy, to enhance Frette’s positioning within the marketplace, collaborating with relevant stakeholders in the global Brand team and/or in other relevant functions.
  • Become fluent in product and processes in order to apply to strategic planning and activities for increasing the brand equity.
  • Create and execute the media buying plan at regional level.
  • Managing the external agencies and liaising with the internal Digital Marketing function for the digital media, and with the Retail Marketing function for events, etc.
  • Manage creative assets trafficking for advertising.
  • Layout annual media buy proposals within the start of each calendar year.
  • Providing status updates and results monthly.
  • Manage budget and ROI for all press initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver reports to upper management and cross functional colleagues.
  • Manage the PR agencies and any PR-related activity, ensure maximum exposure and ROI.
  • Providing bi-weekly status report and summary to include what has been pitched, which results have been achieved to management.
  • Process the monthly invoices to ensure prompt and accurate payment.
  • Handle contract negotiations and legal aspects with internal stakeholders and management.
  • Establish and maintain a strong network of industry and trade professionals (also for hospitality and wholesale), key bloggers/influencers, editors, press etc. to ensure growth in brand visibility.
  • Create a roadmap or target list of appropriate editorial and influencer partners for the brand.
  • Conduct personal outreach to press for new collection launches or activations aligned with the marketing calendar/communication Pillars.
  • Provide status updates monthly on the list contacted and outreach conducted with potential ROI or suggested activations.
  • Manage budget, estimated and actual of activations or events associated with influencer partnership or editors.
  • Deliver end of month clippings to be released internally.
  • Responsible for PR samples trafficking when required for editorials, product placement requests etc.
  • Collaboration with the Communication Manager to be proactive in suggesting formats and improvements.
  • Involvement in public relations and event organization on a project base, as required - in collaboration with marketing managers.
  • Lead projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events for the brand, including but not limited to press days and experiences.
  • Attending industry events as representative of Frette to grow the brand network and pipeline of potential partners for PR or Influencer activations.
  • Help make sure that the Organization’s philosophy, mission, and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with in-house communication and public relations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or public relations preferred.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets.
  • Pro-active approach to problem-solving, and strong outside the box thinker.
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong networking skills with high level professional maturity.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and persuasively internally and externally, to all levels of management.
  • Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
