College junior or senior pursuing a BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
Available to work Monday - Friday remotely or in our office in Brickell (Miami, Florida) *hours flexible based on class schedule and class credit requirements
Available to start August 1st, 2024
Must be proficient in English
At least 2 PR internships ideally in the hospitality/lifestyle/travel space
Exceptional communication and writing skills
Comfort managing multiple work streams simultaneously, and the ability to prioritize effectively
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and drive results as an individual contributor

JOB PURPOSE:
Work with the Public Relations and Communication Coordinator to assist with day-to-day PR activities, outreach, and planning.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Join bi-weekly calls with PR agency partners and location marketing managers to listen in on-location news, PR strategy, and influencer updates
Utilize Muck Rack to track press for all properties and compile monthly highlight recaps
Update and maintain media lists in the consumer travel/lifestyle/fashion, trade, and business spaces
Assist with drafting press releases, press kits, pitches, and other media-facing collateral
Assist with internal newsletter creation and distribution
Draft talking points and key messaging materials for press interviews and PR campaigns
Assist with sourcing on-brand influencers and inviting them to Nikki Beach locations; help draft deliverables for influencers ahead of visits
Oversee and document media visits to Nikki Beach properties and compile coverage reports
