Job Summary: The Medical Public Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in promoting our practice and services to the community, enhancing patient engagement, and ensuring excellent patient care. This position requires a blend of public relations, marketing, and clinical skills to effectively support our practice’s growth and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations & Marketing:
Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the practice’s brand awareness.
Create and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Manage social media platforms and the practice’s website content.
Organize and participate in community events to promote the practice.
Schedule and coordinate educational seminars for providers in the community.
Conduct outreach to local businesses and organizations to establish partnerships.
Patient Care Auditing:
Review and audit patient care processes to ensure quality and consistency.
Make follow-up calls to patients to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
Implement improvements based on patient feedback and audit results.
Community Engagement:
Develop relationships with community leaders and organizations.
Represent the practice at health fairs, community events, and other public forums.
Coordinate and facilitate workshops and seminars on various health topics.
Clinical Support:
Perform balance assessments and structural screenings for patients.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Support the clinical team with patient education and follow-up.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of PR and marketing activities.
Prepare reports on PR and marketing initiatives and their impact.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the practice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
Clinical experience or knowledge in balance assessments and structural screenings is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
