Public Relations Coordinator

Job Description

Job Summary: The Medical Public Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in promoting our practice and services to the community, enhancing patient engagement, and ensuring excellent patient care. This position requires a blend of public relations, marketing, and clinical skills to effectively support our practice’s growth and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Public Relations & Marketing:
• Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the practice’s brand awareness.
• Create and distribute press releases, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
• Manage social media platforms and the practice’s website content.
• Organize and participate in community events to promote the practice.
• Schedule and coordinate educational seminars for providers in the community.
• Conduct outreach to local businesses and organizations to establish partnerships.
• Patient Care Auditing:
• Review and audit patient care processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Make follow-up calls to patients to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
• Implement improvements based on patient feedback and audit results.
• Community Engagement:
• Develop relationships with community leaders and organizations.
• Represent the practice at health fairs, community events, and other public forums.
• Coordinate and facilitate workshops and seminars on various health topics.
• Clinical Support:
• Perform balance assessments and structural screenings for patients.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Support the clinical team with patient education and follow-up.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate records of PR and marketing activities.
• Prepare reports on PR and marketing initiatives and their impact.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the practice.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
• Clinical experience or knowledge in balance assessments and structural screenings is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
