Public Relations Assistant - Entry Level

We are a growing event marketing company specializing in marketing, advertising, and consulting services for large national companies and corporations. As part of our expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to support our marketing and PR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Public Relations:

• Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
• Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR campaign performance
• Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders
  
  

Marketing Support:

• Support the coordination of events, promotions, and other marketing initiatives
• Create and manage content for social media platforms, websites, and newsletters
• Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and promotional items
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities
• Help analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide insights for improvement
  
  

Communications:

• Represent the company at events, acting as a spokesperson and engaging with stakeholders
• Maintain open communication with senior management to align PR initiatives with company objectives
• Coach client representatives in effective communication with the public and employees
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with consumer, community, employee, and public interest groups
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
• Previous experience in public relations, marketing, or related fields is a plus but not required
