- Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns to promote TMZ Events and its clients.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and other written materials to communicate key messages and announcements.
- Cultivate relationships with media contacts, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage and endorsements.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to the PR team.
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media events, ensuring smooth execution and maximizing media exposure.
- Assist in crisis communication efforts, including drafting statements and managing media inquiries during sensitive situations.
- Support social media efforts by creating engaging content and monitoring online conversations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in PR, media relations, or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with media monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of PR strategies and tactics, including media pitching, press release writing, and event coordination.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
