Public Relations Account Supervisor

The Account Supervisor will:

• Conceptualize, prepare plans for, and bring to fruition highly successful publicity, influencer, media relations and content marketing campaigns meeting our client’s business and marketing objectives
• Effectively manage PR programs/activities to provide quality, cost-effective service within established budgets and timelines
• Apply experience and understanding of traditional and emerging communications trends and technologies to elevate strategy
• Develop and maintain effective media relationships working through traditional and digital channels at the national, regional and local levels
• Write effectively for various media
• Oversee and monitor ongoing campaign performance to ensure proper execution and meet client expectations
• Manage budgets and billing
• Develop and execute proactive media outreach for clients
• Provide superior client service
• Act as a mentor and cheerleader for members of the PR Team and Agency
• Understand the new media landscape and be a master at working with media outlets of all varieties

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in PR, Journalism, Marketing or a related field
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Can collaborate with cross-functional agency and client teams
• Proven knowledge and track record of success in executing communications campaigns for clients including “old” and “new” PR
• Understanding of the clients’ business environments and role PR strategies/campaigns play in meeting their marketing objectives
• Ability to articulate a vision and motivate and guide the team to execute the plan with success and measurable results
• At least 5 years in a communications/public relations role with experience managing direct reports.
• Ability to travel as conditions allow
• Hospitality industry experience a plus
