Public Relations Account Coordinator

This is a full-time, fully-remote position available to qualified candidates in the western United States


Account Coordinator – Public Relations San Francisco

Then look no further! We are a fast-growing boutique PR agency looking for a smart, aggressive and creative entry level account coordinator. Unlike other agencies, our account coordinators have face time with clients, start working on client projects immediately, participate in new business meetings and enjoy a career development plan tailored just for them. This job is remote full-time.


Our clients are a fun mix of B2B and consumer tech, consumer, non-profit, consulting and more.


Responsibilities


Responsibilities are based on the account coordinator’s experience and interests. The ideal coordinator will work with 3-4 clients at a time, primarily on the following activities:


-      Collecting information on clients, competitors and markets

-      Ongoing media/analyst outreach (for more experienced candidates)

-     Writing press releases, bylined articles and related materials

-     Managing a complete range of social media activities

-     Working on email marketing and marketing automation campaigns

-      Securing speaking opportunities and awards

-      Developing media/industry analyst lists

-      Creating speaking and awards calendars

-      Monitoring print and online news sources, blogs, Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites

-      Drafting briefing notes and other support for media/analyst briefings


Other activities in which the account coordinator will be involved (based on experience):


-    Involvement in branding and graphic design projects

-    Assisting with preparation and presentation of new business presentations

-    Managing select projects from start to completion


Qualifications


-      0-1 years total experience, ideally with at least one marketing/PR agency internship

-      Passion for providing clients with outstanding work

-      Strong interest in media/analyst relations

-      Outstanding attention to detail

-      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-      Strong work ethic, self-starter personality

-      Eagerness to learn and share successful strategies

-      Can do attitude! Sense of humor!
