Are you energized by the perfect pitch to a publication or journalist? Are you driven by the desire to lead strategic communications for big brands? Are you hungry to get in an agency setting to work in a fast paced, highly creative environment? GS&F is looking for our next PR Account Coordinator to join our growing earned media team. This person should bring energy, media smarts, and a passion for buzz and guiding the collective conversation about brands.


You’ll likely need the following qualifications and experience to be successful in this role:

  • We believe that years of experience is just a number; that said, typically someone in this role has 1–2 years of experience in public relations, media relations or relevant roles
  • Previous agency experience would help someone transition more quickly into the agency but is not required for this role
  • Experience supporting media pitch development and for outreach in B2B/B2C, local, regional and national markets to gain media coverage
  • Superior organization skills to effectively manage media lists
  • Experience in press release development showcasing exceptional writing skills and knowledge of AP Style is preferred
  • Ability to draft press releases with informed, cohesive writing skills with no grammatical errors
  • Ability to think outside of the box when brainstorming concepts, proactive pitch angles, assisting in creative byline development, drafting blogs, and other editorial opportunities
  • Should be process and project management oriented, comfortable driving work forward

Location:

We are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to Nashville in the near future (first 90 days of employment).
