Public Health Project Coordinator (TTA)

PHMC is proud to be a leader in public health. PHMC requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before the first day of employment. We will offer the vaccination at no cost via our Health Centers.

These projects are funded by various funding sources, including federal and state grants and private corporations. The coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the program and supporting the Director of Training and Technical Assistance and Training and Technical Assistance Program Manager on all reporting responsibilities. Projects may include programs that support the Health Resources and Services Administration’s health center program. The position is located in Philadelphia. The position reports to the Training and Technical Assistance Program Manager.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate one to three public health projects using project management software (such as Smartsheet).
  • Support Director of Training and Technical Assistance and Training and Technical Assistance Program Manager with development, coordination, execution, tracking, and reporting of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Coordinator to track and submit documentation for CME/CNE accreditation of training and technical assistance learning opportunities.
  • Support content development of trainings and resources, including slide development for presentations.
  • Represent NNCC on partner calls and meetings, including NTTAP stakeholder meetings.
  • Develop, execute, and track service provider contracts to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Process service provider invoices as needed.
  • Establish and purchase supplies as needed.
  • Supervise one or more interns as needed.

  • EXPERIENCE:


At least two years of experience in public health, project coordination, or related area required. A Masters degree in public health, public administration or a related field may be substituted for at least one year of experience.

Bachelors Degree Required. Masters Degree Preferred.
