Public Affairs Specialist - ACWA Assessment GS-1035-07.

Duties

This Public Notice is for an ACWA covered series at the GS-07 grade level with a two-grade interval promotion potential. If selected for an ACWA covered series and grade, you will receive an email invitation with a link to this announcement and will be required to complete the online questionnaire and pass the ACWA assessment test to obtain a firm job offer.

If selected for a position, promotion potential should be discussed with the Human Resources staff member at the time of tentative job offer.

  • PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations
  • Recruitment incentives may be authorized
  • May be required to be on call and/or to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • May perform periodic weekly 24-hour alert duty as the public affairs on-call representative to answer news media and other inquiries after duty hours.
