The applicant shall ensure that all musical selections are appropriate for the specific type of worship service and Christian season.
The applicant shall ensure that musical selections and instrumentation are suited to the venue.
The applicant will coordinate with worship service chaplain to adjust tempo and style of accompaniment to enhance the congregation's ability to participate in worship.
The applicant shall provide for appropriate music for funerals, memorials, and other observances, in cooperation with the chaplain assigned to the service
Qualification/ Education:
A degree in music from an accredited institution is preferred
Knowledge of Protestant Traditional music is required
Must be able to play piano from sheet music or the hymnal proficiently and assist in vocal leads.
Ability to perform in these areas is required.
Previous experience in a Protestant military chapel setting is preferred
