Property & Equipment Analyst with Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Job Title: Property & Equipment Analyst

Location: National Capital Region / Remote (as mission requires)

Security Clearance Required: Top Secret (TS) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of property and equipment to ensure compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies
  • Manage the lifecycle of equipment from acquisition through disposal, including maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper asset control
  • Develop and implement property management systems, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and accountability
  • Coordinate with various departments to assess property and equipment needs and recommend procurement strategies
  • Perform physical inventories and reconciliations to verify the accuracy of records and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and present reports on property and equipment status, utilization, and forecasted needs to senior management
  • Ensure the security and safeguarding of sensitive and classified equipment in compliance with government and organizational policies

Job Duties:

  • Review and analyze property and equipment management processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains
  • Liaise with procurement and finance departments to streamline acquisition and lifecycle management of assets
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions for staff on property and equipment management best practices and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure the integrity and security of equipment management systems and sensitive assets
  • Participate in audits and inspections related to property and equipment, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property and equipment management, preferably within a government or defense-related environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of federal property management regulations and guidelines
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) or equivalent
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in property management, logistics, or related areas are preferred

Years of Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in property and equipment management roles, with a focus on government or defense sectors
