Program Manager Non-Tech 2

Brief Description

Nextant is looking for a driven Program Manager Non-Tech 2 to join our client team. The main function of a non-IT program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in written communications such as press releases, journalistic pieces, marketing materials, or technical content
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
• Project management/program management skills
• Intune, security, or M365 knowledge helpful but not required.
• Strong knowledge of Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, MsProject, Visio.
• Experience using Microsoft tools such as ADO/VSTS and GitHub is a plus.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with Azure DevOps.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with ADO.
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience with Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Earn trust and effectively communicate with a range of internal stakeholders across all functions and levels
• Microsoft cloud experience is a plus
• Candidates should have a proven track record of cross-group collaboration, the ability to influence executives, corporate and field teams, business maturity and grace under pressure

Fully remote position with the potential for extension.

Pay Rate:

The annual salary range for this position is 103,000 - $113,000 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
