Project Manager - Mergers and Acquisitions

What you will do:

Project Manage the integrations between acquired company systems and client's systems. This would include developing an on-boarding process to handle integration support, and post-go-live support.

The work you will do:

  • Anticipate, identify and address critical inter-dependencies and delivers insights to project teams through proactive risk management, issue identification, resolution and contingency planning, ultimately guiding teams towards milestone achievement.
  • Apply strong critical thinking and decision-making skills and the ability to influence without authority, driving the project teams with a sense of urgency, ownership and accountability and culture of high performance.
  • Manage multiple project work streams with an emphasis on driving quality execution under the direction of the IT Leader.
  • Manages project health and performs assessments of schedule, budgets/finances and deliverables for individual projects
  • Ensures cohesion and coordination across workstreams and maintains alignment with the overall project goals.
  • Involved in full lifecycle, from idea through deploy.
  • Undertakes creating strategies for contingency planning and risk mitigation.
  • Provides project level status reports for stakeholders.
  • Defines resources and schedules
  • Manages vendor relationship and works with integrators
  • Tracks and manages the project budget
  • Develops and/or adheres to project governance structure.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

10+ years of proven project management skills to organize and manage large-scale, complex projects with focus on the following:

  • Life Science industry
  • M&A, Acquisition Collaboration and Divestiture
  • Operational restructuring

Nice to Have

  • Broad technical experience across applications and infrastructure
  • Pharma manufacturing

Travel Requirements:

  • May require travel to Mid-West and Croatia
