Role: Project Manager III

Location: Remote- No west coast candidates

Duration: Through EOY plus extension

Summary

  • Under general direction of either a Functional Manager or in some cases a Program Manager, the Project Manager III leads and directs high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
  • Responsible for assembling project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects and meeting deadlines of projects.
  • Must be familiar with the systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
  • Communicates with top Information Systems Executive, functional area manager and/or Consultant regarding status of specific projects.

Required Experience

  • 10 years of Project Management Experience
  • Recent 2 years of Blue Cross Blue Shield / Healthcare payer experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with Jira
