Job Description:
As a Digital Forensics Project Manager at Enduir, you will be responsible for overseeing/managing digital forensics investigations, leading a team of skilled professionals, and providing expert guidance to ensure the integrity of our clients' systems. You will play a pivotal role in collaborating closely with clients to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and develop proactive measures to fortify their cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead and manage a team of digital forensics professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and allocation of team members, in investigations and analysis.
Digital Forensics Investigations: Oversee forensic investigations, analyzing digital evidence, identifying security breaches, and working directly with our clients in keeping them informed of findings/work that needs to be done.
Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response procedures, coordinate investigations during security incidents, and provide rapid, effective solutions to mitigate risks.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports detailing investigation findings, evidence, and recommendations. Maintain accurate documentation of all investigative procedures.
Research and Development: Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, tools, and methodologies, continually enhancing the team's capabilities and improving investigation techniques.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of forensic analysis, adhering to industry standards and legal requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity investigations.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to guide and mentor team members.
Understanding of forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Sleuth Kit, and other relevant software.
In-depth knowledge of forensic procedures, evidence handling, and legal considerations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as EnCE, CFCE, CISSP, or similar are a plus.
