Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for EV infrastructure projects, from initiation to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, procurement, and external contractors.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of EV charging stations and related infrastructure.
Manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, utilities, vendors, and government agencies.
Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Lead project meetings, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the electrification, EV infrastructure, or related industry.
Strong knowledge of EV charging technologies, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with utility coordination and permitting processes.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar design software is advantageous.
