Job Summary

The Project Manager at Royal Paper will be responsible for planning, executing, and successfully completing key projects within the allotted timeframe and budget. These projects are cross functional and include the creation of new SKU’s, product conversions, and implementation of quality certifications such as BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) and ASI (American Sanitation Institute). This role requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Project Manager will need to work in a positive, productive manner to achieve goals with leaders and managers across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Process Creation for New SKU Launch
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive process for bringing new SKU’s to market, from initial concept to final product launch.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to ensure seamless execution of new product initiatives.
  • Lead Product Conversions
  • Oversee the conversion process for existing products, including packaging updates, formula changes and rebranding efforts.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines effectively to achieve project goals within specified parameters.
  • Implementation of Quality Certifications
  • Drive the implementation of quality certifications such as BRCGS, ASI, and other relevant standards across the organization.
  • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with certification requirements and standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and processes to support certification efforts.
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs to ensure organizational alignment with certification standards.


Position Details

  • Establish clear timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables to drive success of all projects and achievement of project goals within specified parameters.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate proactively the status, issues and risks involved in the project to all stakeholders.
  • Identify, Minimize, and communicate proactively project risks throughout its life cycle. Report & escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead and coordinate project staff and resources to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful project elements are areas where there were opportunities to improve.
  • Other duties as assigned by CEO or Leadership team.


Skills/Qualifications Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes & best practices.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of cross functional project management experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize them towards successful outcomes.
  • Able to work flexible schedules including on-call and overtime as needed.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office & project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or other platforms.

The physical demands described here are representative of those of an employee that works primarily in an office but will also check on products or meet with employees in an industrial warehouse environment that is exposed to cold, heat, and dust typical of a manufacturing location. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close inspection and the ability to adjust vision focus.
