Position: Glass & Glazing Project Manager
Location: Paso Robles, CA
Overview: My client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Glass & Glazing Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various glass and glazing projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the glass and glazing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and supervise all project activities to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Budget Management:
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the glass and glazing industry.
- Strong knowledge of glass and glazing materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
