About the Opportunity:

FedTec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the operational planning, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program or project. The successful candidate will manage a diverse set of subprograms or associated activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This role requires strong leadership abilities, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational plans for the program/project, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee fiscal management, including budget development, monitoring expenditures, and identifying potential funding sources.
  • Manage day-to-day operational activities, including administrative tasks, resource allocation, and human resources management.
  • Seek and cultivate external funding sources through grant applications, partnerships, or other means to support program sustainability and growth.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact and liaison with external stakeholders, representing the program/project on operational matters.
  • Provide technical and professional guidance to team members, offering support and leadership as needed.
  • Evaluate program/project performance and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to the program/project area.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or similar discipline.
  • Current PMP certification.
  • 10+ years of experience leading IT software development and O&M projects.
  • 5+ years of agile project management experience.
  • Able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum master, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification.
  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or similar discipline.
  • Experience with organizational transition from waterfall to agile project methodologies.
  • Experience with Kahua platform.
