Position Overview:

This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of the architecture and construction industries, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration phases of work in a full-service architecture firm. This person will work under the direction of a principal architect to negotiate fees with clients, participate in project conceptual design, select project consultants, complete schematic design, and manage a production team through design development, construction documentation, permitting, and construction. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, an understanding of firm marketing, and excellent client relationship skills.

Qualifications:

• Accredited Master or Bachelor of Architecture degree or equivalent in-firm experience.
• At least four years’ experience in an architecture firm is required.
• Excellent knowledge of Revit.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch Up, Lumion, InDesign, and Illustrator is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and appropriate social skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate accountability as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with employees and external contacts at all levels.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with firm leadership, clients, consultants, and others to secure projects.
• Participate in project design.
• Manage project team during design development and production of construction documents.
• Manage project permitting.
• Manage construction administration responsibilities of the architect.
• Track and manage project finances.
