Project Geologist

Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a Geotechnical Engineer at NOVA Engineering, you’ll be part of our Pensacola, FL team, supporting energy sector projects across the country. Your responsibilities will include:

• Field Operations:
• Develop geotechnical scopes of work.
• Conduct field logging, inspections, and investigations.
• Oversee drill rig operations.
• Technical Analysis:
• Perform geotechnical calculations.
• Prepare detailed reports.
• Project Management:
• Prepare project proposals.
• Manage projects and directly interface with clients.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT certification preferred or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 1+ years of civil/geotechnical engineering experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and leadership ability.
