Project Engineer

ViaSun Corporation, a leading construction company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality standards. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute construction projects from start to finish
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop project plans, including cost estimates, budgets, and timelines
• Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any design or construction-related issues that may arise during the project
• Act as a liaison between the field team and the office, providing timely updates and ensuring effective communication
• Monitor project progress and perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and take proactive measures to mitigate potential risks
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management
• Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED are preferred, but not required
