Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer at Dimension Inx, you will spearhead the evolution of our core platform technology. Collaborating closely with R&D and product development teams, you'll drive the design, testing, and production of innovative therapeutic solutions aimed at enhancing patient well-being. Ideal candidates possess a technical background in cell and tissue engineering or biomaterials, thrive in fast-paced environments, and excel in managing diverse, concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of novel biomaterial products from conceptualization through prototyping and rigorous testing phases.
  • Execute a spectrum of R&D activities including physical testing, biological assays, and materials characterization.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Analyze technical data and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to guide product development strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to advance new technologies through various stages of development.
  • Conduct literature reviews to support project planning and knowledge enhancement.
  • Contribute to problem-solving and strategic planning sessions to drive project progression.
  • Develop and implement technical protocols and SOPs while upholding quality standards.


Position Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, including internships in MedTech or Pharma/Biotech sectors.
  • Proficiency in sterile cell culture techniques, bioassays, and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with microscopy, histology, PCR, and other characterization techniques.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and milestone-driven product development.
  • Exposure to additive manufacturing and polymeric biomaterials characterization preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
